Tamara L. Lundgren is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc.,one of the largest publicly-traded manufacturers and exporters of recycled metals in North America—operating more than 100 facilities throughout the U.S., Western Canada and Puerto Rico, including seven deep water export operations, a steel manufacturing facility, and a retail auto parts business with over five million annual retail visits. Prior to joining SSI, Ms. Lundgren was an investment banker and lawyer with 25 years of experience in the U.S. and Europe. Ms. Lundgren is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Portland Branch and a member of the President’s Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiation. She also currently serves as a Director of Ryder System, Inc. and Parsons Corporation, and is a member of the Business Roundtable, the Committee of 200 (the international organization of senior women business executives), and the Business Leadership Council of Wellesley College. Ms. Lundgren is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, completing her term in 2015. She graduated from Wellesley College and received her law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law.
